A church service is also called a worship service, or simply a service. It is a formalized period of religious worship in Christian tradition. It is often held on Sunday. In most Christian traditions, services are presided over by clergy wherever possible.
It is a time spent in the Holy presence of God Almighty as we participate in worship service. God speaks to us, blesses us, answers our prayers and fills our lives with peace.
WORSHIP SERVICES
Worship services are a time of prayer for both leaders and congregation. They are to be in constant prayer. Under the leadership of clergy, anointed servants of God, the Worship would be a sacred time where the people are led by the Holy Spirit to pray and to worship God.
Worship time is both an outward as well as visible gathering of the people of God and an inward and spiritual gathering in the presence of God.
This time is set apart for prayer, singing, presenting offerings to God, reading of the Holy Bible, sharing testimony and preaching the word of God.

Praise And Worship
Contemporary worship music (CWM ) is also known as praise and worship music. Here the songs are frequently referred to as " praise songs " or " worship songs ". This special time is led by a " worship band " or " praise and worship team'' or " Choirs" with either a guitarist or pianist leading. Youth of our church are blessed with various talents such as singing, music and prayer. They lead in time of praise and worship, preparing the congregation to listen to the word of God.
